Do you treat the problem that I have?
POST specializes in orthopedic injuries and is equipped for most of the scope of physical therapy. Check out our specialties page for more specific information.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?
You will need your insurance card, prescription, a referral if required (for most insurance plans, call us if you have questions), and comfortable clothing that will allow you to expose the injured part of your body.

If you have a leg or foot injury, it would also be helpful to bring whatever shoes you wear for exercising or walking.

Does POST offer pool therapy?
Unfortunately, we do not have pool facilities available at any of our current locations.

How long are initial evaluation appointments?
Evaluations take 30-60 minutes. You will also need to come 15 minutes early in order to fill out the necessary paperwork so that the therapist can spend the full time scheduled with you.

How long will follow-up appointments be?
Plan on being at POST for about 45 minutes for follow-ups. You will have 20-30 minutes of time with your therapist, and some additional time for supervised exercise, as well as ice or other modalities as needed.

I’m not an athlete, is POST still the right place for me?
Absolutely – POST sees patients anywhere from 5-100 years old, and of all activity levels.

Whether your goal is to get rid of pain while typing, be able to get up the stairs without help, recover after surgery, improve your balance, walk a bit further, or get back to your favorite sport, POST can help.
